Boomkey for Mac

Typed "руддщ" when you meant "hello"? It happens to everyone who works in two languages. Boomkey fixes it in one press - no deleting, no retyping.

How It Works

• Select the garbled text
• Press the Boomkey shortcut (or right-click > Services > Fix Layout - Boomkey)
• The text is replaced with what you actually meant to type

That's it. You decide what to fix and when - Boomkey acts only on the text you select and send to it.

Any Layout Pair

Boomkey works with the keyboard layouts you already have installed: Ukrainian, English, Greek, Korean, Arabic and many more. It reads the actual key maps of your layouts, so conversion is precise - including punctuation and dead keys.

Alternative for Punto Switcher, Lang Switcher, Caramba Switcher etc. All supported layouts are listed in the FAQ on the Boomkey website.

Where It Works

In most Mac apps with native text fields: Mail, Notes, TextEdit, Viber, Chrome and others - the selected text is replaced right in place. If an app doesn't accept replacements, the corrected text is one click away via the Copy button.

Private by Design

Boomkey requests no system permissions. It cannot see your screen, your keystrokes, or other apps. The only text it ever touches is the selection you explicitly send to it. Fully sandboxed.

Quick Setup

Pick your shortcut, try it on a sample right in the onboarding, done. You can change the shortcut anytime in System Settings > Keyboard.
